I guess my biggest concern was what in the hell was I going to write about?Īt that time, my trucking experience was limited to driving a cube van on moving day.Īnyway, with the encouragement of the Truck News staff, I began my career as a columnist.
I hesitated and dragged my feet for the first few issues until I finally relented. When I started with Truck News a few years ago – time really does fly – my editor, John Curran asked me if I’d be interested in putting pen to paper on a monthly basis.
